Technical education is essential for a country to become a developed country. Education is one of the five basic needs of a human being. Naturally, last few decades been observed if a country’s most people got educated in technical education their socioeconomics getting better. Eventhough, it will text-justify to reduce the unemployment rate. Therefore, if we want to take our country to the level of a developed country, we have to pay more attention to technical education. A large part of the total population of our country is unemployed. If we can educate these unemployed people in technical education, it will become a public resource. The look of the country will change in a very short time.
Bangladeshi workers work hard but lack of technical education and are being recruited as unskilled, semi-skilled workers. As a result, they are not getting a fair price for their labor in most cases. Because of their limitations and weaknesses, they have to be content with low-paying jobs. In this case, the government is urging to take various types of technical education before taking a job abroad. To this end, the government has set up many institutes and vocational training centers for technical education across the country. Government Technical Training Institutes, Vocational Training Centers as well as non-government initiatives have been set up in various district towns and even at the Upazila level. Again, many unemployed youths are receiving various types of technical knowledge and training in technical training institutes set up by NGOs. They are getting the opportunity to bargain on wages and salaries through their experience and skills assessment in the labor market. In this way, they are moving step by step to change their destiny.
